amsterdam122
Hello guys and girls of nano reef welcome to my new tank thread. Ok so here's my return to reefing with something a bit more in line with my budget .... I have been looking for pico size tank for a while that would fit on a shelf nicely. We're out of room in the front room for a larger tank and the budget is a bit tight, so if this project is a bit slow at times please bear with me I removed the top of the tank and all the other fancy looking bits as i picked the tank up for £35 and only really was interested in the size of the glass and needed an open top tank for easy access. It was a bit of a pain as i tried to scrape the silicon away with a stanley blade but the gap was too thin so found some sewing cotton and using a sawing motion got through it nice and easy The Equipment collected so far is Fluval Edge 23l tank (Dimensions 43L 26W 23D) Fluval HOB filter with floss 50w heater Coral Sand Substrate 2-3kgs of Live rock Params are Ammonia 0 Nitrite 0 Nitrate Im using some cheap chinese leds with a nice spectrum and dimmable, only problem is it doesnt have a auto dimm feature but im going to upgrade asap! The powerhead is a hydor koralia 900 lph. I also plan to buy a temp controller, Rowaphos and purigen for the filter. Not Sure on stock yet possibly a yellow clown goby but its going to be mainly coral and inverts. And now for some bad quality pics lol Link to comment

Metatrone-oz
That's what you get for picking this design. Overall it's just cat proof (my decision making). Link to comment
