Couple of questions for Kessil owners

Partially Submerged

There are so many good lights out there these days, but few things I have seen beat a well positioned Kessil in my opinion. I'd really like to get one (or two) for my 20x20x12 tank. Here are a few questions that I would love some input on:

1. I've read a couple of complaints about the longevity of the Kessils (failing LEDs mainly). Is this a concern in your experience?

2. Some people seem to think that the 60 series doesn't get the blues right compared to the 50s series. Comments?

3. Is the light color of the "Ocean Blue" A150s the same as the A350 "Tuna Blue"?

Thanks kindly!

I have been using a Kessil 350 Tuna Blue for 1-1/2 years on a 22"x20"x 20" custom tank, and 2 years prior on a 20x20x20 Solana.

I have no LEDs burned out.

I can not speak of all of the models, only what I have used. I can control the color spectrum only visually, but it's been no problems for me.

I have grown SPS ,LPS, zoos and softies using this light.

I use the Kessil Arm, and it is about 8" above the water line.

I have no desire to use another light. I am very happy with it and its performance.

Hope this helps, Shane

1. Used kessil A350W for one year.

Switch on time 24/7 and power set at 50%blue 25%white.

None of the LED is out of function.

2&3. Never used other model of kessil so cant answer your second question. But what i saw from other user post, the spectrum is probably same between 350 and 360 but 360 a bit brighter.
