Should I do T5 Retrofit for 40B /w my LED?

I have a Reefbreeders Photon 24 LED and I want to know if I would see improvement in SPS coloration and growth if I added TWO T5 retrofit kits, one each side of the LED?

Has anybody else done this?

My Photon 24 is 8.5" wide, and the tank is 18" wide, so would I have enough space to add in one each side? Of if I mounted them at an angle to give as much coverage instead of just on the edges?

For instance would getting two of these work?

Yes, I believe the tank will look better. I did a t5 retrofit with a radion gen2 and the colors look better on the corals. The colors seems more intense.

EDIT:

So this doesn't look quite as easy as I was expecting. Firstly almost nobody sells a kit anymore for 36".

I've found one site that sells Giesemen 36" reflectors. I want to do 2x 39w, so what ballast or other items would I need to buy to get a complete kit?

Need some help here as even google searching for the past few hours on DIY T5 retrofits came up pretty short on info other than the completed result. I've never had T5's before, so I don't want to order reflectors and a ballast and get the wrong ballast, or end up needing more stuff...

Awesome!

Well I found that Aquacave actually sells the 36" for $109 so grabbed it and also ordered one Coral Plus and one Blue Plus ATI bulbs.

They should arrive by the weekend, so I will be getting the hood started this week
