HarryPotter
damn it...i just bought a Red Sea Reefer 350 after asking for your shallow 45g for a long time. Hard to beat a reefer 350, no? Saw one at a LFS and loved it. Link to comment
ninjamyst
Hard to beat a reefer 350, no? Saw one at a LFS and loved it. yea but it's like twice the price and i like the shallow dimension more. The reefer is super awesome though. But if I have to choose between the two, I would pick the shallow tank. Link to comment
waytoospicy
will this come with a skimmer? Link to comment
CAD-Aqua
Hey everybody Ninjamyst: You definitely was one of the guys we thought of when we re-vamped the Versa Shallow reef 45G. I dont know the time lines for the releases until my boss tells us about the upcoming stuff. Waytoospicy: The Versa Shallow reef 45G will come just like the other Versa packages so it wouldn't have a skimmer but can easily be added or be sold without one. I know that at least the 1st batch of the Versa Shallow reef 45G will come with a FREE Artisan ATO reservoir. Thanks, im going to try to take a few pics and post them up here this week. one local customer just set one up and hes sent me a few pics with it running. Scott Link to comment

Pinner Reef
Those dimensions are tempting... And I'm in the market for a new system Link to comment
CAD-Aqua
Hey Spiderguardnano The overflow box is 6" x 6". giving a display area of a full 36 x 24 all the way to the approach of the overflow box at 6" from left wall. gives an incredible amount of reef-scaping space. it uses a 1.25" drain and 1/2" return. Thanks Scott Link to comment

Thanks CAD Lights Aquariums One more question. I am debating between this tank, and the 70g Artisan. Can you guys drill standard holes in the 70g instead of the metric sizes you use? I would prefer to use US standard size bulkheads as I would like to hard-plumb the tank with sch 40 pipes. Link to comment
CAD-Aqua
Hey Fishstiks Sure, we can drill the 70G for you as well and customize to SCH40 holes. but I want to let you know that we have upgraded to the new SCH60 fittings (grey) since about 4 months ago and they are much better than SCH40 soft aquarium black ones. the new fittings are hand tight also and no need for pliers. but if you would like us to customize the holes for you is no problem, takes 1 day extra for the drilling. Hey Nanofreak79 I wish I can. but they don't let me do much for used tanks. Thanks Scott Link to comment
