Wiilio
Hello one and all,It has been quite awhile since I've been here, and in the hobby in general. A lot has changed! I've obtained a degree in marine biology, moved to PA, and started a life of my own (unfortunately lacking a marine bio job... for now). Thankfully, this new life has given me more time (and money) to devote to my exotic pet keeping. On top of the tarantula I've owned since March, and the parakeet I'll be picking up sometime this week (it's being hand-raised), I've also managed to revamp my saltwater tank. And I have to say, it's looking great so far All pictures will most likely be taken with my phone, but the quality is decent enough.--------------------------------------------------------------------------------FTS (11/1/2015) Hardware 3-gallon JBJ picotopeAC 70 with media basket and overflow boxDon't quite remember what light I have... It's some PAR bulb with 3 blue/2 white LEDs. InhabitantsYellow clown goby (strange coloration is due to the refraction of the light from the surface; don't worry, she's very bright yellow!) REEFerMAdNESS88
love it, I was going to go with the yellow clown goby for my 2.5 but ended up getting a royal gramma from my LFS instead, I dig the gramma but seeing that little guy makes me kinda regret my decision just a little. Wiilio
Well the nice thing about this little lady is that she's very visible in this tank, due to the darker colors inside and the smaller size of the tank itself. Really easy to see her bobbing in and out of rock, perching on top of the Halimeda, and even sitting underneath the filter once in awhile. And it's not that difficult to find them tank-raised. I've been pleased with her so far But I'm sure a gramma would also stand out very well. Link to comment
REEFerMAdNESS88
ha wish i could say the same about the gramma. he has finally realized he is the "apex predator" of his little pico world but I still loose him some times lol. Link to comment
