mpad Posted October 25, 2015 Share Posted October 25, 2015 figured I just post this here. discovered this in a cathedral in Coimbra, Portugal. two really big tridacna shells left and right of the main entrance holding the holy water. the sign said they were delivered to Portugal in the 17th century from the Indian Ocean. approx 70 cm = 27,5 inch long I would say....
