jedimasterben
Considering that you've not included any pictures or a description of the power supply and your driver setup... I'd say you need something anywhere between the size of a shot glass to the size of the first hard drive. Link to comment
reefinnewb
Lol.. my bad. It's the meanwell 200w 48vdc and the board I haven't received yet but should be O2surplus's board. Link to comment
jedimasterben
I couldn't resist I personally wouldn't recommend to enclose a power supply like that. Link to comment
reefinnewb
Ok, wanted to make everything into one unit. Link to comment
evilc66
If you do enclose it, then add a fan and ventilation holes to move air through the enclosure. It will help ensure that the power supply doesn't over heat. Link to comment
Benny314
Ebay, I searched project box. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Inline-Dimmer-Switch-2A-DC-9V-24V-Manual-Adjustable-Control-For-LED-Strip-Light-/391085105876?hash=item5b0e7d22d4:g:RS0AAOSwqu9VBe3c As has already been mentioned. Make sure you add a cooling fan and good ventilation (ideally across the PSU) to prevent any overheating. Alternatively what I did was have my PSU's off under another part of the unit on the back of my plug socket board that makes up my tank stands and run a cable to them with a jack into the project box. Makes everything nice and tidy and the PSU's are well away from water with great ventilation. It means I can unplug my project box and put it on the side to work on any time I need too. ReefSafeSolutions
Hammond makes great project boxes...since you'd want to cut holes for ventilation I'd suggest an ABS enclosure, but if you want to take on the aluminum they have some good aluminum enclosures. No idea if they have the size you need/want, but they've got a pretty wide array of sizes. Link to comment
