Wretched Posted October 16, 2015 Share Posted October 16, 2015 Ok so, i'd just like to add a review about Steve @ SCAquariums and their astounding customer service. On labor day i bought one of their tanks at a steal of a price. After setting it all up, and how meticulously I look at the tank I noticed two very small water spots that I can't seem to buff out on the side panel, that if you look at my tank you'd never find it unless I pointed it out. While I was at Reef-A-Palooza I stopped by their booth just to say hi and how much I love the tank. I talked to Steve (Owner) and just kinda told him about the spots, and said it's nowhere near noticeable and had no problem. Just wanted to thank him and his guys. He INSISTED that he comes by my house to inspect the tank, after telling him it's fine he just said to call him the day after RAP because he wants to ensure that ALL his customers are completely satisfied with their products( I was already satisfied). So Steve and his worker came by my house yesterday as I am within 30 minutes of their warehouse. He inspected it, and gave me a multitude of options of what I wanted to do with the tank. Offered a new tank, but as I said it's nowhere near noticeable to the eye until I point it out. I didn't want to go through transferring again. He responds with "Well you seem to have top of the line lighting, etc so I can't offer you another Radion." I wouldn't have taken that, i'm an honest man and really didn't need anything. But again, he insisted. He offered me 150$ coral credit to his wholesaler.... My tank's completely full as he saw and that was another no go. After more talking, about reefing, business, just hanging out. He insisted that I take cash for an extremely minor issue. We settled on cash, and I plan to use it to buy some more dry goods from him in the near future. SC Aquariums I can guarantee you are top notch at a fraction of the price you'll pay anywhere else (or atleast where I have shopped around.) Please, if you guys are in the market for anything. Give Steve a call, he will definitely take care of you. I am beyond satisfied with my purchase and even more satisfied with the service that they have provided. Here's a picture of them at my house. After much research between Cadlights and SC. Completely satisfied with my decision. The spots almost look like when the polishing of the glass was happening, it wasn't polished as much as it needed to be in that spot and some water had dried into the glass. It's so miniscule, that if it wasn't for RAP i'd never even mention it. Was satisfied even with the two spots, I mean they're as small as a a grain of rice. Link to comment
