Fnard
Oh ok. The way I read your first post it sounded as though you had just set it up. Welp, now for a sincere good luck. Going with macros or some of that plastic plant crap? Link to comment
hinnenkm
Have they arrived yet? I'm doing a lot of research and trying to find the best place to order some dwarfs from. I appreciate any info and good luck! Link to comment
Elizabeth94
Sooooooo, no cycle? Have fun with that. Ha, I got this impression too. Good thing we were both wrong. I love seahorses, but I never did enough research on them to keep them. There is something about them that seems way to delicate for me being in college and all. I am looking forward to pictures! I'm in Minneapolis, and seeing that you're in Woodbury, I'm curious to know how they did with shipping. Thanks! Link to comment
Nanofreak79
I think it was saltwaterfish.com. They did ok shipping with usually a dead one with up to five in one order. That sucks cause he won't resend the doa, he'll give you store credit. I ordered some from saltykritterz too and they were decent. Link to comment

vlangel
Ahh, I am sorry about your shipping loss. That is sad. Link to comment
flobees
I am sorry for the loss. I wanted to write as I also ordered from KP. I ordered Ricodias and gorgonias also 2 pairs of Dwarf Seahorse. First I want to say that the communication with KP was great. The Ricordias and the Gorgonia's they sent me was gorgeous and healthy and still looking great in my tank. They sent me 5 Dwarf's evethough I only ordered 2 pairs and an extra Gorgonia. Unfortunately two Dwarfs died withing hours of arriving. One died the next day and one yesterday so I have one left after 3 days..;(( My tank have been cycled for over two months. Got lots of pods in it and macro algae so I am also at a loss what happened. Its very disheartening and sad to think that I killed those little guys. I also culture copepods and brine shrimp myself for my mandarin so it's not lack of food. So I just wanted to share this with you. Again this is very hard to take and I am now sad for the one that's left cos she is all alone in the 5 gallon tank. Link to comment
vlangel
I have heard great things of KP Aquatics but their DSH are wild caught. That is a disadvantage right from the get go. You could see if Seahorse Source has any captive bred dwarfs available. Captive bred have been living in aquarium conditions for for multiple generations which somewhat domesticates them and makes them more adapted for aquarium life. Link to comment
