Doesn't look like too much rock to me. How many pounds of rock is that?

Just go with a look you like, and try to plan your scape based on what you want to keep (if you are planning of having coral). Rock is your biological filtration, so you don't want to skimp out by not having enough with your planned bioload.

What's the light on that tank?

Rather what is your equipment list? Wanting to do a 10g aswell. Yours looks pretty clean and organized

a quick way to make the scape a tad more interesting

2 islands are generally more interesting than 1, keep the arch and the bottom left rock lose the rock that connects them and that tiny rock in front of the arch

2nd, angle the arch to where the right side is more toward the front right corner of the tank and the left side is more pointed toward the back

this should give a sense of openness with the 2 seperate rock features as well as a sense of front to back depth with the angle of the arch

also maybe move the far left rock an inch inward to make cleaning the glass easier
