Oceanbox Designs
I want to introduce a new line of custom nano reef solutions that I think will have most benefit to everyone who own a standard glass tank or is looking into converting one into a reef tank. These custom All-In-One (AIO) Inserts allow you to covert a standard tank into a a reef ready AIO tank by utilizing internal filtration system. This simplify setup and allow you to hide equipments (heater, probe, ATO sensor) inside the AIO chamber, yet still efficient enough to support a full nano reef system. If you have desired for a custom AIO insert kit to convert your tank into a nano AIO saltwater reef tank. Please contact us for a quote. Price will varies base on customization and dimensions. Designed by ©2015 Oceanbox Designs™ http://www.oceanboxdesigns.com/ Here are some custom AIO Inserts I have done for customers. Custom AIO Insert with seamless sharp bent corner. Elizabeth94
Too bad this wasn't posted a couple weeks ago, I would have had one built instead of picking up a AIO tank. Good luck with everything, that insert looks like its built with top quality craftsmanship. 1 Link to comment

nanoreeFan
On these inserts and sump kits. Do you have to be careful of acrylic expanding and cracking the glass? I read about a guy with a glass sump. He put in acrylic baffles and the acrylic, after being in the water, expanded and cracked the glass. Since there are different types of acrylic and I don't know what type you use I though I would ask. Do customers have to be mindful of allowing clearance for expansion when ordering? Thanks in advance. Link to comment
StevieT
StevieT jumps in... Acrylic expansion is so minimal even with extruded you can't even measure it. The guy probably cut the piece too wide, jammed it in there and it cracked the glass in X amount of time. You would always make these with some buffer room as not every tank is made the same. All tanks are hand made, and most in China so they spit out whatever they feel like it. I suppose the silicone makes up for that buffer but the manufacture can speak on that end. StevieT gracefully exits k-bye 4 Link to comment

Thanks in advance. I'm always allowing a small amount of clearance on both sides of the baffles, silicone can then fill in the gap, they're never a tight fit that you would forced in place as StevieT said, that's a no no for either glass or acrylic baffles. What would one of these to fit a standard 5G cost? (quoted pic of the Custom AIO Insert with seamless sharp bent corner.) It would be badass for a QT tank. Edit: and would/could it include the Neon orange trays that the 12G kit is pictured with? I would only need 2 chambers, 1 for media and 1 for return. Link to comment
