Can someone please identify whats in the following pictures. Are pictures 1 and 2 baby aptasia? There really small so its kind of hard for me to tell, just trying to see if i should nuke them now.

Picture 3 is similar sizing and even look similar but they are all white. What are they? Thanks

Not sure about picture 1, are the tentacles thicker than the picture shows or are they actually threadlike? Picture 2 is an Aiptasia, little cutie. Picture 3 is weird, they aren't anemones since the polyps are attached to each other, the tentacle arrangement makes me doubt any sort of hydroids, also they (number 3s polyps) are opaque, does picture 3 have a skeleton, give it a touch

I know number 1 is certainly a colony of athecate hydroids, possibly capatata which means that there could be moderate stinging ability, if they grow slowly, just remember not to place any new coral in the vicinity of the tentacles because of the stings.

3 sounds like an octocorallia

Is there a good way to remove the hydroids? They are on a rock in the sump so I could probably chisel that section off. And the octocorallia is harmless?
