land shark Posted October 10, 2015 Share Posted October 10, 2015 I needed these for my Tisbe and Nanno cultures and had to buy a lot of material. So, I am making extras for anyone who wants them. I am charging $15 for one size or $25 for both including shipping. If you need the 25um it's a really good idea to buy both so the 25um doesn't get clogged. If you want a larger size sieve than the 2" pvc I can just cut you the mesh and you can make whatever size you need. They are made from nylon and wont degrade/clog as fast as the stainless steel ones. They should last a long time. You can stack them to separate two particle sizes quickly. The mesh is sealed with %100 silicon and the pvc is glued together with pvc cement. These can be used to separate adult copepods from their nauplii, to screen contaminants from phyto, to collect rotifers, and really in any situation where you need to screen particulate from saltwater(lots of uses outside the hobby as well). These are a must have for aquaculture. Care: rinse with fresh water after use and store in a dry place out of sunlight PM me if interested or post here if you have questions.
