Ivery
I bought this light a few weeks ago. Well, I can now say it was a waste of $60. I have it on a 4 gallon cube and tried a few zoas out in it. There barely open at all and looking weak. A lot of disco effect also. Color looks like freshwater instead of marine. Quote Link to comment
GavinW
They do make a freshwater version. Maybe it's the wrong one?? Quote Link to comment
Ivery
I don't think so. I asked seller to make sure. And they said it was marine. Quote Link to comment
Horerczy
Pics? Sell might not know the difference. Quote Link to comment
_chubb_
Here is my marine and freshwater versions side by side. You can definitely see the difference. The marine version has ceramic heat sinks on top and 5 different color leds. I disagree that it looks like a freshwater light. It might not be super blue 20k and you might not like the color but it's a full spectrum light rated at 12-15k color temp. Picture taken with an iPhone and not edited Quote Link to comment
Ivery
Mines definitely 1 on the right. Maybe I need to give it another chance. Are you keeping any corals ? Quote Link to comment
Dalek
Please could any one tell me how far the light protrudes into the tank when fixed and it’s width when looking from above. I’m thinking of putting two on my Fluval Chi, ( one either side of the upgraded filter) best wishes to all Dale Quote Link to comment
