Need Help On LED Lights

I have been out of the reef hobby for about 4-5 years and Im sure the LEDs have changed. My last tanks all had Evil PAR 38 LED lights with 40 degree optics and LOVED them! I could grow anything and got really fast growth compared to metal halide.

I just bought a new 24" L x 24" W x 12" T acrylic tank. I want to do LEDs and was thinking of buying one that could hang 8-20"+- above the tank. It has to be able to grow SPS. I dont want a ton of light over spill if possible. I do like the kessil or EcoTech Radion style LEDs lights. Is there a cheaper LED fixture like those that would fit my needs? I would like one LED fixture instead of multiple.

I bought a used Kessil 350n for a greaso price! Do you guys think 1 will be enough?

Most likely no. You will probably need one more. Also the "n" stands for narrow.

Not the N version, you'd need several to light a 24x24 area at a sane distance. Hang it a few feet above the tank and you should get the coverage, but check intensity with a PAR meter.

That 360N is for deep tanks with a very narrow beam. I hate to sound like an ass, but its basically useless for your application. For something in the affordable range look at Reef Breeders LED's. In the Radion's a XR30 would be OK if you hang it fairly high and dont put light loving corals near each end.
