I've made a tunnel system for my Yasha pair and shrimp out of PVC and embedded it in the rock.\ Then I remembered over 15 years ago I had a couple of engineer gobies that loved digging. I always got a big kick out of looking under the tank at the engineer's in their burrows. Then I had a thought, I wonder if I could do the same with the Yasha and shrimp. If I cut the tube out and removed it so there was just a tunnel in the rock without the PVC, but a hole in my stand so I could see in would the shirmp/yasha's fill the tube with sand so I couldn't see them or would they leave it open? I would make the cutout a removable panel so normally it would be covered and dark like they would be expecting. Anyone done anything like this or seen anything like it? Link to comment
