You're going to love this tank! Looking forward to following along.

By the way, I only use three of my clips for the top. One in the middle of the back wall and one on each side near the front :)

Your right Teeny I do like this tank a bunch. So i have an awesome friend that sent me a bunch of stuff for the tank. He sent a spinstream, media basket, skimmer, and a nano240.

That looks great! The skimmer can be hard to get tuned at first, let me know if you don't already have the "known to work well" special procedure :)

I have no clue how to set it up/tune it I'm I was going to search the internet today but feel free to provide basic setup as well as tune it in

Awesome stuff from your friend! I just setup the same tank, they are pretty nice looking, can't wait to see what you do with it. Any plans for lighting yet?

Nice! I've got one coming for mine too, right now it's just got a sunbrite led I got off ebay for cheap but nothing in the tank much cares about light anyways, just want it to look pretty. I'll have to go check out your little tank now.

Lol what's the trick? Throw it away? Mine has an air leak at the top so you can't properly adjust the skim unless I put tape on it and they want me to pay shipping to send it back

I don't know about the air leak, but the process to tune it is: adjust top of the white part of the skimmer so it was 1 1/2" above the water, turn the air venturi down until there are no more bubbles, then open it 1/4 to 1/2 turn after the point where bubbles start to form. Lower the cup as low as it can go. let it run for a day and then raise the cup as needed for the quality of skimmate you need.

I also had luck with raising the collection cup all the way up and turning the air venturi all the way up. When I did it that way I started getting skimmate within 24 hours with no microbubbles. But it was really loud :(

I promised my wife though i would open it with her so we all have to wait to see what great rocks John sent me.

Since a picture of a box is just a tease i thought i would share what the local petco had... I really want all three of those fish

The rock looks great I'll probably have to break it down a bit. Now if I can only find some time to play with it and see what I can come up with

So I've been playing with the rock this weekend trying some different scales and all which I'll post when I get to a computer, but the exciting thing is my new nanobox tide came in and it is crazy pretty. Dave does some fantastic work. I will post pictures later as well but for now I am playing with the light and want advice. I have connected it to the bluefish and have 6 channels to play with. I have no clue what to set them up for or anything so I was wondering if people have advice?

Thanks!!

Ch1 - 50%, ch2 - 25%, ch3 - 50%, ch4- 70% , ch-5 1% and ch6 - 80%.

Thanks Dave I'll put those numbers in. Just so you know I love the design so sleek and very well made it also puts out a ton of light. I also sent you an email with some questions

I personally like the second scape better because it looks a bit more natural. You should think about what corals you want to keep too and how they grow. The second one seems to have a bit more "horizontal" spots for coral placement. But go with what you like.

Took me about an hour straight of breaking big pieces of rock and coming to a rock scape. The good thing is after a few days, I still look at it and love it.

Its cool to see all these fusion tanks going up at the same time. We get to grow with each other

So i decided to play with the scape in the tank. Not sure if its a good idea or not but it gave me a better look at what i was dealing with. I still can't get one im totally happy with but i figured id share these for now. And yes there will be sand in the tank.
