RW-4 night mode

If you run it at high settings like else mode with a barebottom tank night mode is a good thing for the fish. Fish can sleep well without having to struggle the flow. But if you run at lowest setting at W1 like me, the night mode is stronger compare to daymode because of constant flow instead of on and off like W1.

Ahh ok. I have been running it on W5, but just got fish yesterday for the first time. I will run night mode. Like the idea if them getting a lil rest from the W5

Thanks

The only thing is that if you unplug/cut the power then it automatically turns off nightmode. I have my sump RW-4 on a controller so I can't use nightmode since every time I turn on Stand By mode, it cuts the power to that RW-4 and turns off Night Mode.

I think you already know this. The RW-4 has a light sensor on the controller and it must mount where it can get aquarium light for the night mode to activate. One thing I noticed it if you turn off the power during feed mode the previous settings will be lost and you need to program it back.
