Debiplmby
Can I put the upside down jellies with the starfish and a small redreef lobster. We have them in a 75 gal tank with a snowflake eel and the eel got stung one time and now hides under his cave all the time Quote Link to comment
lkoechle
Jellyfish should really be in their own species specific tank. Quote Link to comment
ajmckay
+1 to their own tank - are they not getting sucked up by filtration? Quote Link to comment
lkoechle
Also, I would think the lobster would damage it while resting. Just doesn't sound like a good idea in the least. Quote Link to comment
The Aquarist
Very very Bad idea. The lobster, eel, and jellyfish will not fare well with each other. Quote Link to comment
amphipod
I actually think there is a good chance it'll work, I'm not 100% sure how the reef lobster will treat the jellyfish though. Very very Bad idea. The lobster, eel, and jellyfish will not fare well with each other. the eel isn't going to be with the jellyfish, lobster or starfish, Debiplmby already said that the jellyfish have stung the eel, he is wondering if jelly, claws and star are a good mix.Debiplmby, do you have enough upside downs to test one in the lobster tank? Debiplmby
I have 6 upside down jellies and I know the eel and lobster can't be in the same tank. We have 7 tanks. One just fish , one with lobster and star fish, one with crabs, one with urchin, one with baskin star fish , one with ell and jellies ,and one with an octopuses. We wrapped the intake with screen and it works very well, only one of the six jellies got stuck but we just shut the pump off real quick and no damage . 1 Quote Link to comment

Octopus probably wouldn't like jellyfish. that's a lot of interesting tanks, what kinds of urchins, crabs and octopus do you keep Also I just noticed, welcome to nano reef 1 Quote Link to comment

amphipod
Anemones are often pretty good at regeneration, so there is a good chance it will regrow the damaged parts, maybe if you post a picture I can see how bad the damage is. Quote Link to comment
