Normang
check out neotherm heaters by cobalt. Aqua illuminations prime Led would be a sweet light for that tank InTank media baskets will make your water super wet, and that should be one of the first upgrades made Since return pumps if you can't stand the stock one Link to comment
xXBlueDreamXx
i have heater issues. every time i get a heater they turn out to be unreliable. ive been going with marineland bc they have a lifetime replacment on them. i love the ai prime you suggested. this tank is going on my computer dest and since it is controllable by computer thats perfict. the light looks good and the price isint bad eather. Normang
ehiem heaters are very reliable, prob some of the best. and the neotherms in the lower wattage, such as 75 and less, don't have many issues. the light is great, and for the money has great features. be sure to check out the Intank Media baskets. well worth the price. xXBlueDreamXx
i looked at the media baskets and love them also thinking of getting the ghost skimmer. i am definitly getting the light and media baskets. i want this tank to run smooth and be stable. Link to comment
Normang
I bought the ghost skimmer for my fusion 20. Its not up and running yet. Some people love them and hate them, some say they are noisy and won't skim anything. In a 10 gal I don't feel its needed, much less than a 20. and its not a must need in a 20 either. but heck, I bought one because I wanted to try it out. Frequent water changes should suffice. I had a typo on the type of return pump I suggested. its the Sicce pumps, not since. A lot of people have success running the filter floss in the first shelf on the Intank media baskets from Intanks website. I bought some and its super dense, and I know it'll do a good job. Then they run purigen and chemi pure elite. i looked at the media baskets and love them also thinking of getting the ghost skimmer. i am definitly getting the light and media baskets. i want this tank to run smooth and be stable. good equipment will help with maintaining a steady tank but its not the key. The Best advice I can give is take your time and be patient. Don't rush things, and the less you touch things the more stable your tank will become. Link to comment

Pretty much everything Normag said. Prime would be a good light. Or XR15 Radion. Cobalt Neotherm heater for sure. Link to comment
