Nothing to see here... just a 28g nanocube. ;)

Modded an AI prime in the hood. Intank media rack, premium deco live rock..which I need more of. Plan to just put my ridiculously expensive bali clowns along with a tank full of bubble tips nems.

Lies. Pics required. :P

Delirium set in yet? You just wait till your wife wakes you up at 530 to help pull a log out your kids' butt after you pulled the late shift. That wasn't in the manual btw.

Oh, they wont be logs for a while. Try runny, messy, smelly all the way up the back to her neck from laying on it! Now thats a good time!

yes..good indicator that the 240 diapers you just bought are the wrong size. They didn't make the extra fabric on the onsies around the neck so you could make it easier to get over their head, although it does.. it's for going the other direction.

Will the AI Prime be okay in such a humid area? Is it above the plastic shield or did you take that off?

It's inside the glass shield. I've already verified that without the stock fans running it goes into thermal shutoff.. whoops :)

How many tangs can you cram in there

I'm gonna shoot for 3-4.. a vlamingi, a unicorn, and an orange shoulder. I think I'll put one of those 2" blue hippos in there and then rehome him later.

Well I was all set to add the clowns to the tank this weekend but maybe I should wait until after I get the live rock in next week and scaped.. let any mini cycle occur, and then add.

Here's some pics of how I mounted the Prime. Basically just used an angle brace and some of the hardware that came with the arm mount.

Drilled 2 small holes which match the existing vent holes and the screws from the arm mount fit perfectly.

Completely stock look.

Found this ugly bastard when I turned the room lights on to take the pics. This rock was taken from the sump of my 180g which means he's been chillin for a few months.

Delivery exception.. label unreadable. Ay yi yi.

Pump upgrades.. what's standard issue? Maxijet 1200s? I'll not be adding additional nem blenders to the tank so flow will all be from these 2 pumps.

My understanding is the original MaxiJets were made in Italy under the Marineland label. Then Marineland moved manufacturing to China. Then Cobalt started manufacturing MaxiJet pumps in Italy under their label.

From what I hear the Marineland Chinese MaxiJets are loud and sucky. Go with the Cobalts.

The only thing I like about the Marineland Maxi-jets is that they can be converted to a powerheads mode with a large propellor and move ludicrous amounts of water. I have one that is in my sump keeping gunk suspended and doubles as a mixing pump.
