What more can I do with Typhoon Controller?

There are two inputs for temperature. If I buy DS18B20 for $3 from ebay and shoulder it to the typhon controller board. Will the temperature work fine or I need anything else.

 

I also like to add PH monitor.

Is there any way I get get the PH-Temp-Lighting info on the go in my mobile device?

 

 

Things are getting really interesting.....but I am not an electrical guy. I do have very little knowledge.

 

PH-Temp-Lighting are important to me I don't want to make it too much complicated, but I want these information on my mobile device.....

 

Sump and Aquarium water level can be one more info that I can add, because I go for long vacations and these are the things that bothers me....

The Typhon was really only intended as a lighting controller. If you want to add more features to it, your only option is to start programming it yourself.

 

If you was data on your mobile device, and advanced features like ph, temperature, water levels etc. then you want to look at a full reef controller like the Apex line from Neptune Systems.
