Fluval Chi picoreef

I've been away for a few years and now back in the reefing hobby with a pico tank. I wanted to keep it small for quick, easy maintenance since I don't have a lot of time (full time job and a little side business lol). I'll be keeping mostly softies and 1-2 lps corals.

Equipment:

5 gal Fluval Chi

Aqua clear hob filter (running carbon and chemiclean)

Aquaillumination Prime Light

25w heater

Maintenance:

1-2 gal water change weekly.

Topoff as needed.

Thanks! Those shots were taken with a Samsung nx300 with 18-55 Ois lens (and macro diopters); custom white balance is built in so it's easy to color correct.

Oh wow, that's a pretty cool set up you've got going on. Love the Zoa collection already !!! Ever thought about just putting the light on one of the side ? Regardless, I'm following along omgomgomg

I thought about it, but then I realized that I wouldn't be able to keep the glass cover on. I love zoas and ricordea. I'm on the lookout for some orange and blue ricordea florida to add more color. I really want a red rock anemone too but I don't know if it will stay on the bottom or move around and kill everything.
