Deflated Frogspawn Coral

Looks more like a hammer to me.

Why did you only take out 3 but added 5? If the water level was low due to evaporation and you added 2 extra gallons of saltwater back then that could cause a sudden increase in salinity.

Though you haven't really given any good information so that's all anyone can guess really. When posting these types of questions you need a more thorough timeline, water parameters, how long you've had it, other inhabitants, etc.

Observe it carefully for now.

Thanks all. Comments duely noted, will provide more info next time. Also yes theyre hammerheads not frogspawn. Salinity was fine but I think it was because the rodi water I poured in was too cold. I got a bigger/better heater than can maintain the temp at around 78 deg. and Im happy to say the hammerhead is starting to puff back up again.

Happen to me thought the gallon and a half at room temp would sway it to bad we'll I poured in the water alittle to quick it dropped the tank temp to fast and I saw a lot of retraction, glad there good though nothing hurts more than watching a sweet coral fade away to goo.
