Hey everyone. Looking to start my first salt water tank. I want to use a nano cube. What I would like to put in the tank is

-1 royal gramma

-1(or a pair) of clownish

-1 Yellow watchman goby

-1 pistol shrimp

Id put in some inverts/cleanup crew as well and I'd like to put in a zoa and maybe another coral.

So my big question is. What tank can i comfortably fit all these guys? I got a good deal on a corrallife 14g but I think it's just too small. Once I get it set up, who goes on first, and how long do I need to wait for the next additon to the tank?

Thank you in advance!

I think that a fusion 40G would fit the bill nicely. Not that expensive and plenty of room for that list right there. 14G would be too small IMO and the light is not that good. Rimless is the way to go! Rimless tanks look so much better. Good luck and welcome to NR BTW.

I have the Fusion 40 and I like it. You could easily keep your stock list in it plus a little more probably.

I only have a fusion 10g, but I love it. Also I think that these rimless tanks that come without lights are better, since you can choose from the far superior lights out there instead of getting the crappy stock lights that biocubes and nanocubes come with.

Go with a 40. I would probably add the clowns last, I have never had those other fish but clowns can be awfully territorial

Yup, clowns are wackos.

Haha I used to have everything in your list minus the Gamma in my Spec V 5 Gal and they all did very well :) But, yeah... Get something bigger than I did - I regret it. I'd go for a Nuvo 20 personally, or maybe the new lagoon tanks.

I would highly recommend the Biocube 29, with the exception that you can find one used with better lights. The stock lights aren't very good and cause the tank to get extremely hot. Other than that, it is a great all around tank that would fit everything you want to get.
