curtis72 Posted September 2, 2015 Share Posted September 2, 2015 I have a duo and i run my lights from 11-8pm in a mostly blue heavy light. My question is im thinking about running my blue channel at about 5% as a moonlight, would this have any ill effects on my tank? Since on this channel there is also limes and violets. Also is there a way in the app to turn off night time mode? or would i have to use a timer and plug my light into it? Link to comment

Hig789 Posted September 2, 2015 Share Posted September 2, 2015 My moonlight channel runs at .2% and if your eyes are adjusted to the dark then it is plenty of light to see by. 1% on the regular blue channel would be a bit much IMO. That's .2% from one led vs 1% from multiple LEDs. That is assuming you are talking about a two channel light and not one with a dedicated moonlight channel. Link to comment
