DaveFason
I have been working for the past year on a new design for the entire Nano Box line up. Taking feedback from forum reviews, countless talks with industry professionals and overall listening to you the customer. I am proud to present the NEW Nano Box Mini, Duo, QUAD. Nano Box Mini Tide : minitidecoverpage by David Fason, on Flickr tidelids by David Fason, on Flickr minicutsheet by David Fason, on Flickr Nano Box DUO : duotitlepage by David Fason, on Flickr duosidebyside by David Fason, on Flickr cutsheetduo by David Fason, on Flickr QUAD : Pictures come shortly! Special Lid Series : Nature Series ( This will be the first ) natureseries by David Fason, on Flickr timberseriessamples by David Fason, on Flickr The new design was made from the ground up with the help of Chris from CNCReef. We went to the drawing board and designed a unit that not only shaved .5" off the normal Nano Box unit but made it easier for the user to customize. The new interchangeable lid system is extremely easy to use and creates unlimited possibilities for me to customize the unit just for you. The new Nano Box lineup not only updated the body style but electronics as well. We now offer fan control, a new fan design that is extremely quite, SINGLE POWER SOURCE, up to five channels of control, and full wireless control. Making this a feature rich aquarium light. As always the Tide, DUO and QUAD all come standard with mounting hardware. Rimless and rimmed gooseneck tank mounts or wire hanging kit. The units body will come in black or white and will offer the same 90+ color options for the lids. Custom body colors will be available but will cost an extra fee. Lead times will be cut down to 2-4 days on standard units and 4-7 on custom units! The most amazing part is we were able to drop the pricing on the units! PRICING : Mini Tide : Includes gooseneck or wire hanging kit Two Channel - $289.95 Four Channel - $329.95 Four Channel w/ Dedicated Moonlight - $335.00 DUO : Includes gooseneck or wire hanging kit Two Channel - $435.95 Four Channel - $464.95 Four Channel w/ Dedicated Moonlight - $470.00 QUAD : Includes dual gooseneck or wire hanging kit Two Channel - $675 ( More info on QUAD coming soon ) Lids - $24.95 - $39.95 Units are milled in California and assembled and tested in North Carolina. 100% from the great USA. We were able to keep the original round body style as well. A dedicated tool was purchased JUST for two cuts. Machining Photos : frontcover by David Fason, on Flickr How thin are the new units? .78" to be exact. It was a battle to make the hardware flush but special screws were purchased to keep the units flush. Howthin by David Fason, on Flickr lastpage by David Fason, on Flickr I will be accepting pre-orders NOW and will have the website updated accordingly. Shipping will be October 19th ( Could be sooner ). I am beyond excited about the new product line up. These units look amazing and function even better. Thank you ALL for the support over the years and feedback. I honestly take it all to heart and without you I would not be here! -Dave Link to comment
