Dreichler
For the longest time, i was never able to take good pics under deep blues, blues, and UV, and i think i finally got it. This is using an iPhone 5S and just took them very quickly just to test it. Let me know what you think. I can post more of a specific coral if needed to see a better difference. Link to comment
Marc.The.Shark
So, what's the secret? My iPhone (4S) takes crappy pics too, especially under blues. Link to comment
TheKleinReef
I used to just used to take a pic through polarized lenses. Worked fairly well. Then I got a dslr and never brought my phone near the tank again. Link to comment

Halo_003
Polarized lenses do help. Another big resource is Camera+, it is quite a bit better than the stock camera. Here's a semi-decent example: Link to comment

Hig789
You can adjust the white balance manually in Camera+. Seems to help a lot. Link to comment

seabass
You really just need a camera with a custom white balance setting. You can buy a used one for as little as $33: https://www.keh.com/208540/canon-powershot-a720-is-digital-camera-8-m-p You can buy a good used camera for well under $200: https://www.keh.com/208558/canon-powershot-g11-digital-camera-10-m-p or a decent entry level new camera for just over $100: http://www.amazon.com/Canon-PowerShot-Wide-Angle-Stabilized-3-0-Inch/dp/B005I6DVLQ/ref=sr_1_11?ie=UTF8&qid=1440662422&sr=8-11&keywords=Canon+sx Link to comment

seabass
Iphone isn't bad at all, I like it more than my sister's Canon T3i! Nice pics Harry! I agree, current iPhones include nice cameras; which make it hard to want to drag an additional, larger camera along with you. However, even with adjusting the temperature, they still don't have a true custom white balance setting (where the camera can automatically make whites, actually white). Link to comment

youincolor
WHAT WAS THE SECRET METHOD USED??!! Seems to me according to this post all you have to do is buy an iPhone 5s to get good photos under blue lights? A phone that came out like two years ago? Useless. Link to comment
