burakerkal
Hello all, There was nothing on it 2 days ago. But on sunday morning, I saw that small area was brownish. Then today Brownish part growth and I saw a black hole going inside. I didnt chance water or I didnt add something to the tank. Other corals looks pretty happy. What is wrong? How can i make my coral better? Link to comment
Snow_Phoenix
Not sure if it's your lighting, but your Goni looks a bit bleached. As for the brownish stuff - does it look like jelly? It could be BJD or some sort of parasitical damage. You might need for someone more experienced to chime in though. Link to comment
burakerkal
Thank you for answer, that bleach looking is because of the light. I took it with phone camera also. I guess its also jelly but how can i cure it Link to comment
Snow_Phoenix
If I'm not mistaken, if it's BJD, your best shot is siphoning the jelly out from the affected area and giving the coral an iodine dip in hopes of killing off the protozoan. Mind you, I lost two beautiful gonis several years back due to BJD. It wasn't pretty and it spreads fast - especially amongst Euphyllias. Link to comment
