cv8610
Just wondering who has any experience with one of these and what their thoughts are on it. I would like to put together a sump/refugium for my tank and do not intend on hiding it in a cabinet. Suggestions or recommendations are welcomed. Link to comment
HarryPotter
You might be better off with an Advanced Acrylics cube Sump- IMO cheaper and better designed. This sump is somewhat of a Gimmick according to some advanced reefershttp://www.nano-reef.com/topic/360209-introducing-innovative-cube-nano-refugium/ Link to comment
cv8610
Ah alright thanks for the help with that one. I would like to stay away from acrylic for this so I may be looking for a bit longer. Link to comment

cv8610
I would just prefer something a bit more resistant to scratches is all. Basically what I would like to do is not just have one that is hidden or a bit of an eye sore. Id like to treat it almost like a second display tank. Link to comment

Lol, your sump gets dirty, film growing on the glass, if you do a fuge it will be full of crud. Additionally, acrylic doesn't shatter, like glass. Link to comment
Mirya
Check out the Building an Obsession cube sump. I almost pulled the trigger on one, but I'm going to get a custom-made sump from Geo's Reef since he is local to me. Trigger Systems also has a nice cube in either their crystal or ruby lines. The ruby cube sump looks pretty good. Link to comment
cv8610
Any recommendations on a protein skimmer? I am looking at either the BAO 20inch or the Trigger systems ruby 20inch at this point. The skimmer I am looking at currently is the s-120 from eshopps. Link to comment
