Just wondering who has any experience with one of these and what their thoughts are on it. I would like to put together a sump/refugium for my tank and do not intend on hiding it in a cabinet. Suggestions or recommendations are welcomed.

Ah alright thanks for the help with that one. I would like to stay away from acrylic for this so I may be looking for a bit longer.

Why no acrylic?

What dimensions are you looking for?

I would just prefer something a bit more resistant to scratches is all. Basically what I would like to do is not just have one that is hidden or a bit of an eye sore. Id like to treat it almost like a second display tank.

Lol, your sump gets dirty, film growing on the glass, if you do a fuge it will be full of crud. Additionally, acrylic doesn't shatter, like glass.

Any recommendations on a protein skimmer? I am looking at either the BAO 20inch or the Trigger systems ruby 20inch at this point. The skimmer I am looking at currently is the s-120 from eshopps.

Anything EXCEPT the eshopps skimmers...

Cad-Lights, Curve 5, vertex, reef octopus, etc.
