Just wondering what I can keep in my 40 gallon cube.

I would like to get the following not including CUC:

Pair of Clowns

Yellow Watchman Goby & Shrimp pair

1 Royal Gramma

So what else do I have room for?

Thanks.

Anyone?

A blenny would do great in that tank. They're very personable and come in assorted colors. For a tank that size, you could either get a Midas or Starry blenny. If you think they're too big, then you can get a TSB.

3 schooling chromis?

Chromis dont really 'school' IMO. I had bought 5 of them and watched them just kill each other off until there was 2 of them. I have also heard many stories about this happening.

In my 40g I have a Platinum Clownfish, Azure Damselfish, 3 Bangaii Cardinalfish, and a Leopard Wrasse

I agree with Kirbaay. Chromises don't school, unfortunately. My LFS placed easily 20 chromises in a 150G tank and exactly a year later, there's only 1 chromis left.

There are so many choices you can look into - take a peek at www.liveaquaria.com. They have a nice list of marine fish and their requirements down there.

If you want a percher, you can consider a small to medium-sized blenny, neon gobies, clown gobies etc.

If you want something active, then perhaps a damsel such as a Springeri (not sure if I spelt that correctly)?

You could do cardinals like Kirbaay - they're so far quite peaceful. I think the smaller species like red spot cards actually school.

flame hawks will kill clean up crew. My 3 chromis are doing just fine. Plenty of water column to swim in my 45g. Get a pair of cardinals! They school and look great! +1 on a blenny
