ClownGobyDood Posted August 1, 2015 Share Posted August 1, 2015 So I have had many Firefish in the past. And now I have 2 in my 20. I have a few fish in the tank and 2 inverts. The clown was being a jerk but that is expected for the first day or 2. But I Have a pink spot watchman who is pretty territorial but only yawns when he's mad. But today it wasn't so hunky dory... One of the gobies went right to the watchman's "spot" and then it wasn't good he latched onto the poor gobies fin and wouldn't let go until it came off. God it was terrible watching the poor guy kinda wiggle away I know they grow back but I don't want it to happen again do any of you guys know what to do? Ik I could put him in the sump but mine is not big enough for him and I don't have a QT yet. This is my first time having to deal with this Link to comment
steverino Posted August 13, 2015 Share Posted August 13, 2015 Firefish are tough. I've kept several over the years and it is difficult to find tank mates that are passive enough to keep them with. Typically the bigger the firefish the less they'll be bullied. I've also found that once they start being bullied it doesn't stop. Link to comment
