ps2cho
I am just cruising with my tank until I move house since I want to completely restart with a new rockscape, sand and sump. My Red Planet coral is just expanding like crazy over the surface of the rock and I'm wondering how you guys pack so many sps on a single rock when they expand their bases like this? I'd like to know this info for when I restart and move current sps corals over for placement etc. Link to comment
East1
I usually have my SPS attached to individual small rocks and then glue those rocks to my rockwork or place them in the sand, it allows me to break the rock off without disturbing the coral when they start to expand. It's really difficult to aquascape SPS and have the tank looking good while having space to grow, so a more modular approach works for me Link to comment
12_egg_Omelette
Know how the coral grows for instance it is tabling, encrusting, branching. Plan stuff for growth it make look weird at first but it also makes you more knowledgable about the corals you have. Link to comment
