The other reads 1.025, the. The small Kent next to hem reads sky high like 1.030 something, the he. In tank corallife is reading 1.028. So anyone seen this??? Btw yes all are clean and free of salt build up or residue, I wash out and soak with vinegar to clean them each time. Link to comment
Admonition
I had the issue with two different units when I first started in the hobby. Honestly, spend the $20-$30 and buy a refractometer Link to comment
Exodus
Doing this now for over 20 years and I can assure you Hydrometers are garbage in the way of accuracy, Most people dont realize they need to be cleaned frequently with a Vinegar wash, hence why so many people have issues. Spend $50 and get a Refractometer (Not a cheap eBay one) you will not regret it, shell out a $110 and get a Milwaukee Digital refractometer and you will never look back. Link to comment
