Internal overflow options/questions need help

I was wondering if I were to turn a 90 up with a strainer in the inside and a tee drain on the outside of my bulk head to save space would I have a hard time controlling the noise?

It won't be silent; but if you keep the flow low, it might be bearable.

I had this set up on my cube. By no means was it quiet but it was bearable. Now I have a new tank with a overflow box and its silent.
