Cencalfishguy56 Posted July 29, 2015 Share Posted July 29, 2015 So due to some financial hardships my tank has been on hold and an apex is more of a luxury for me than anything I have an apex lite which includes base unit, display, Eb8, and temp probe all in original packaging previous owner had it for about 6-8 months I believe I haven't touched anything, looks almost new to me, pm me for inquiries pics for those interested later looking for $315 shipped also considering eheim return pumps or sca 301 skimmer plus cash also OPEN TO OFFERS Link to comment

braaap Posted July 30, 2015 Share Posted July 30, 2015 The lite has no module limit. The Apex Jr can only use 6. Of those 6 the energy bars each count as 1. As does the display. So you are very limited in that aspect. The Lite doesn't have an extra PH/ORP port or speed ports like the full line does. You don't really need those features though. You can just connect that eb8 to the Apex jr and then you have 12 outlets to control. You still need a separate PM1 module for ph or other modules for other functions like salinity, WMX etc. However since the no of modules are limited so you need to decide what you need. I doubt if anyone measures salinity vai a probe or how many measure ORP. The base unit is separate unit in lite and since it comes with an Eb8 you end up 8 outlets to start. Neptune used to sell them. They don't anymore as it is discontinued. I bought one 3 or 4 years back as I started with a JR and had maxed it out. So they let me trade my JR for $100 and buy the unit for $100. Link to comment
