nedim
Hi everyone. I'm excited to be a part of the community. I had a 75 gallon mixed reef tank for a couple years and had to tear it down due to moving. I am in the process of setting up a Nuvo 20 tank which I am very excited about. I will take some pictures tonight, but I am still waiting on a couple things. I ordered rock from John at Reefcleaners which should be here tomorrow, and Nanobox Duo which should be here next week. Here is some of the equipment I will be using Current Setup: - IM Nuvo 20 - Arag-Alive Fiji pink sand (20 lbs) - Dr Tim's Amonia and One and Only bacteria to start cycle - Reefcleaners dry rock (15 lbs) - 2x InTank media baskets with chemi-pure blue and purigen - Neo-therm 75w Heater - Magfloat - Nanobox Duo LED - API test kit for the cycle - BRS Refractometer - BRS RODI - Red Sea Coral Pro Salt Not planning on getting a skimmer since I will be doing weekly 5 gallon water changes. Updating thread as I make progress. Thanks for checking it out. Link to comment
2 f15hy 4u
Welcome! That looks like it's going to be a pretty awesome setup! The only thing that I've seen with the 20 gallon Fusions is that people are adding additional flow, might want to keep that in mind. I don't own a IM Fusion personally, but I see that with about every thread on here. Do you have any idea on what livestock you're going to add? Good luck! Link to comment
evanski
A lot of these coming online, including mine that is mid-cycle. I did upgrade to a MJ120 and dual spin streams. The pump is good, the the loss of flow with the streams is significant. Lots of folks going for a MP20...I probably will after I start stocking. Hit up a coupldeof the builds and comment (including mine #shamelessplug)...looking forward to seeing yours up and running. E Link to comment

nedim
Having some issues with the cycle. On Thursday I put 20 drops of Dr tim's ammonia and Dr tim's one and only bacteria. Every day the ammonia has been dropping and I am having to add more drops of ammonia. There are no nitrite or nitrate readings yet. I have to put 4-5 drops every day. Not sure where the ammonia in the tank is going, should I be concerned? Link to comment

Looking forward to see how this develops Link to comment
