I saw the 20g at RAP and was not that impressed The advanced acrylic does look a little nicer, but scratches way too easy. Deal breaker for me. I would go with the jbj any day. New tank that hasn't seen water and a kessil light that was never used for 350...I haven't seen the advanced acrylic yet though, but this tank makes a sweet shallow reef Link to comment

You don't want pests or Necrosis to spread in between tanks if they're connected. If the two were independent, one could crash but the other be perfectly fine Link to comment

Hmmmmm m Well the returns are on the bottom of the tank, so that might make it difficult to have a shallow garden. Pictures? What lighting/skimmer you using? Link to comment

I also replace the return pump with a lower gph to combat the sand displaced in the front corner that the stock pump was causing Link to comment
