ClownGobyDood
So I've had a green clown goby for about 4 days. He looks fat and healthy but I haven't seen him go after any food I've put in -baster target fed- like even if it lands right in front of him he just doesn't go for it... Idk what to do. PS. I feed brine, spirulina enriched brine, blood worms and pellets Link to comment
kylhcky
it could take a few days to a week before fish will start accepting food. just give the little fella some more time to adjust to your system. Link to comment

12_egg_Omelette
I know this is an expensive solution, I would throw in some tispe pods and maybe some tigger pods. Link to comment
ndrobey
It is always a good idea to demand to see a fish eat before you buy it. Link to comment

fishfreak0114
I just got one a last Saturday and it just started eating yesterday. I suspect he was eating before, just shy Link to comment

Interesting, I never knew you could feed fish that, if I get any fish that won't eat I'll have to try it Link to comment
12_egg_Omelette
I wouldn't do it in a real reef tank. qt tank only, I think of it similar to soaking food in garlic. In an established reef I would try an assortment of reef proven food and live reef food. Link to comment
BulkRate
Although it failed miserably with my mandarin, everything else in my tank (including a yellow clown goby) went absolutely insane for blue crab roe. Easiest & cheapest way to get it is to go to an Asian market or high-end grocery store & pick out a couple of female blue crabs out of the live bin (will have orange tipped claws). Bisect 'em, scoop out the orange gunk and freeze it in a flat pack. Link to comment
