Scorched Posted July 23, 2015 Share Posted July 23, 2015 If you are looking for maximum quality the Nikon and Sony DSLRs are really good when paired with excellent lenses. Expect to spend $2-4,000 with the camera, lens, and other goodies. A great camera for around 1,300 is the new Sony RX10. It shoots 4K video and has a built in 24-200 2.8 Zeiss lens.
