Matteo
Hopefully if still on craigslist I found a killer deal on a 55 gallon. I already have some DIY led stuff from rapid and simply would need to add to it to save money on a lighting fixture. Question is will 48 leds be enough? 24 each on a 12inch heat sink and obliviously 2 12inch heatsinks over the 55 gallon. Ch1 10 Royal Blue 2 Blue Ch2 10 Royal Blue 2 Blue Ch3 6 Limes 6 Warm White 2 Neutral White Ch4 10 UV (5 violet/5true uv) Ratio looking good? All will be controlled with MakersLED controller which I have already. Didn't see a need for optics because they will be no higher than 6-8 inches from the water. Mixed reef. All coral from 29g. Currently using a 17 cree led fixture on it and acros, nems, and clam look great! Advice welcome please! Link to comment
Horerczy
Good ratios to me depending on the tour of LEDs used. Link to comment
