truels2
Iv been searching around and the lighting aspect of this has my head spinning. Im on a budget with my build and im trying to find something that will output enough light for a 15g housing lps and soft corals. All the LED options in my budget dont seem to output enough light. Id like to keep my investment in lighting around $100 and im not sure if this is even possible? Could anyone point me in the correct direction? Link to comment
HarryPotter
An Ocean Revive or Mars Aqua fixture would be in your budget I believe Link to comment
Nanofreak79
Reef led par and gooseneck combo. Loving mine and strong enough to grow anything, with careful placement of sps, lps and softies Thishttp://reefled.ca/par38-reef-lamp-ultra-kit/ Or a single for $85.00 with gooseneck! For anything budget, par bulbs are usually the way to go! Link to comment
truels2
Could i get away with 1 Reef LED and fixture for a 15G as long as the beam as directed over the Live rock sculpture ? And should i do the 80 Degrees lens or the 60? Also is REEFLed.ca based in the US? Link to comment
Nanofreak79
Yes you could use it over your main sculpture. You can always buy a second one later. I placed mine in the middle of 24" tank and got at most 16-18" spread. The rest was shadowed and within the 14" is where you'd be able to keep coral. I did a video for them. Yes 80* your tank is fairly shallow. I'm not saying to do this but you could take optics off for 120* spread. I don't know how much par loss you'd have. Maybe Jessie, the owner, has an idea or 120* optics. Send him a message he's very nice and will help you out maybe with a sale price. Link to comment

smeagol108
Current orbit marine non pro version. 125 bucks, controllable. In fact I'll sell you mine for 90 once I get my nanobox this week or next. I still have original box and all. I have kept softies, Lps and sps under it with no issues. Link to comment
Nanofreak79
What's Jessie's contact name on here ? Thanks for the info Reef led sponsor here. Just send him a message or on there web page. I had the orbit marine led. No offense but the color wasn't as good as the par bulb or better yet there pro model is better with different colors added. Link to comment
