jambon
OK I have a new frogfish about 3 inches long. Have had him for 4 days so far. I was very careful to keep him submerged so as not to get any air swallowed. Anyway he seams to be having difficulty staying put on the bottom. He or she may have swallowed air. Question is does anyone have experience with this?If I get gas I just burp it up. Can these guys do that? I am sure they invest air along with there food via air bladders in fish. When these guys get stressed they do swallow water and puff up as a puffer fish does,i am guessing it is just swallowing water into there stomach. If this is the case as he expelled the water facing the surface any caught air should be the first thing to go. In the meantime I have put some feeder mollies in with it. Hopefully he will let out a huge belch and start dining. Link to comment
