Great job. Its very clean looking. A few years ago I also built a 15 gallon all in one almost exactly like yours. I have to admit yours looks a lot better. I think this is going to be a great tank!

I have a pro tip for your overflow design. Let me try to explain, lol. The potential problem is in the first chamber that contains the overflow. If you put a sponge or carbon in there it will become clogged over time and will slow in flow. If it slows enough it will cause the level in the display to rise, possibly enough for the pump to run dry.

The fix is easy. Just put an overflow in your overflow. In other words lower the top of the wall or cut slits at the top part of the wall between the first overflow chamber and the skimmer chamber. Then if the filter floss clogs it just overflows into the skimmer section.

I hope that helps. Very nice so far!

My media basket I constructed. Top is floss second is chemipure and third or the bottom is chaeto area

Considering having a forum member who works with acrylic make a different one by this one has about a 1/8" gap at all sides might be a waste of money no? It fits very well

Basket fitment.. Don't judge the two overflow gaps that are wider I made a booboo while cutting and didn't wanna waste the acrylic. :(

Thanks I'm trying to figure out how to cut a few grooves in and make it look good... Hmmmm maybe melt it with a crap soldering iron tip

  • 3 weeks later...

Do you have a Steevo inspired workbench with toolboxes dropped into the frame?

BTW good looking AIO. I have a 20L with a badfish AIO kit. Its in storage now, but will probably use it as a frag tank soon
