new reef video site - www.reefvids.com

I launched a new website earlier today for reefers to upload HD videos of their tanks, vendor promos, tutorials, etc.

Being a veteran in the reef world, I always thought it would be a great thing if there was a place that could be the Youtube of our beloved hobby. There are a couple other sites like this, but I believe my content delivery system (using the same FrontCloud technology as Netflix on load-balanced servers), the ability to upload files up to 200MB, and the fact that I'm able to stream in full HD with little to no buffering can really make this something special.

If anyone has any vids they'd like to share, I can really use a hand in getting this off the ground. I have a few placeholder videos up there now, but I'd like to remove them as soon as I get some user uploaded content. Also, if anyone has any suggestions or comments, please don't hesitate. Thanks in advance.

Is the idea just to have a central video dump for all things reef? It's a good idea.

I posted, but didn't see anywhere that provided links to the content. I guess direct link?

Quality is good and it uploaded from Dropbox, which some other services have a hard time with. Not sure if it will replace photobucket/Flickr etc. since the functionality is more limited.

I'm in for now though. Free subscription when you start charging? Haha...

Cool idea. Question - why the 200mb file size limit? All of my full HD videos are all over 1gb at least lol :(

Agreed, 200mb is a really short HD video... Sure it's not 2000?

Sounds cool though.
