Zero TDS Water

I am new to the nano reef hobby and I was wondering if I could use a ZeroWater filter( https://www.zerowater.com/10c-pitcher ) to make acceptable 0 TDS water for my new nano reef aquarium. I do not have the room or funds to install a RODI unit in my apartment. I already have a filter and pitcher like the one in the link. If it makes 0 TDS water as advertized, would it be as good as RODI water? Keep in mind my system is only 10 gallons and water top off and changes will be fairly small in volume.

It will make 0 TDS water for a very short time but will get very expensive quickly since the filter is very small and doesn't have much capacity. You would probably be better off buying gallon jugs of distilled water.
