drewkleine Posted July 12, 2015 Share Posted July 12, 2015 So I'm super new to Nano-reef, this being my first posting, and figured I'd try and get some input from you knowledgable reefers out there. Here goes.....I've been battling cloudy tank water in my 18ish gallon shallow reef for going on 2 weeks. It's not particulate, but rather milky. I'm thinking a bacterial bloom but can't be sure. Benny314 Posted July 12, 2015 Share Posted July 12, 2015 Milky white tends to be bacterial, but it could also be supper fine micro bubbles escaping a skimmer or being created in a pump drawing air from some where. How old is the tank? Is it still cycling, does it have any live stock? Link to comment
