Nathaniel Z
I was wondering if someone can help me with a feeding schedule for my matted filefish and watchman goby. Matted Filefish- They eat aiptasia of course, but I don't want to deal with that, so I was thinking Mysis shrimp or brine shrimp, but how much do I feed at one feeding time? I also read that you have to feed them 3 times a day. So morning, afternoon, and night. So what is a variety of foods that is affordable that they eat (if they eat frozen, should I do that?) and how much do I feed at one feeding time? Yellow Watchman Goby- What should I feed them (variety, frozen if necessary?), How much at one feeding time, and how many feeding times per day? I am aware that this is a lot! I am trying the best I can to set up my first saltwater tank! So bare with me! THANK YOU SO MUCH! Link to comment

kakorb
I can't remember off hand it's been two years since I had him and I had a bunch of fish with him I broke that tank down and downsized to a nano. I always feed little bit at time till fish slow down and then I quit I don't have a set amount I feed every night. Link to comment
aquatame
Many reef aquarium owners don't even feed as often as once per day in order to help keep the tank clean. Just feed them once axday to keep them healthy and only feed enough they they can eat in a minute or so. Better to add very small amounts that they can consume fully then over feed and pollute the tank. Link to comment
yomon347
Feeding depends on how much you are exporting via skimming and water changes. Also, depends if you are running a sandbed or bare bottom. My 20L is bb and I skim plus i do atleast one WC a week usually more so i feed pretty liberally. Normally i feed half a frozen cube of mysis every day, plus ill feed my nem a chunk of blender mush every few days and direct feed my lps alot. Link to comment
