Have these things online inside my overflow? Brown, short stalks with a ball on one end( like Qtip) and small hairs radiating out from the center. Best pics I can get. Any idea? They have taken up ground in the overflow, and around the inlet rim for the overflow pipe to sump. Ideas?

So they seem to like only the high flow areas? Weird looking shape, do the tentacles seem to surround any mouth in the center?

To small to tell. Shapped like a Q-Tip, and the little hair-like parts grow off the sides. No visable mouth, not even a radial shape like the full grown pics Ive seen, I wondered if these were adolescent ones?

That is weird, do the creatures expand and retract? Also adolescent wouldn't be likely at all since the larvae even keep radial symmetry. These animals are likely adults.

No, no expansion or retraction that I am aware of.

you knew this was coming, touch it and see what it does, also when you touch it does it try to or actually stick?
