So yeah I know this sounds weird, but my mom won't let me store Silversides in the Freezer!!!

Can I feed my Anemones and/or LPS small chunks of Salmon or Tilapia instead? Im thinking its the same; just raw fish.

Just feed them freeze dried krill then or brine. I feed mine formula 1 pellets even.

I was using Mysis, but I've heard thats not enough for them.

Honestly they don't need to be fed that often, they will grab things out of the water column if available I actually really only feed mine chunks of stuff every once and a while. My clowns will bring it food some too. Don't over think it harry lol you are your own worst enemy. Let the tank settle and just watch it,the inhabitants will tell you what they need, just gotta remain still enough to notice it. :)

Haha okay okay, fine! My clowns aren't interested in the Anemone though, partially since it is on the side of the tank and they like the front.

I guess ill just wait till the next time salmon is defrosted to try it

Yea give it a try. Honestly just plain fish food would work.

I've never fed mine salmon but I made my own blend of frozen food. It includes tilapia, shrimp, scallops, mysis, spriulina, selcon, and I think that's it.

Sounds pretty damn smelly.... and I would be murdered for using the blender with that! :ninja:

The benefits of living alone, haha. I actually bought the cheapest food processor I could find at Wal-Mart and used that. I cleaned it and haven't used it since. haha. It doens't really smell though. I put it in a freezer bag and flattened it out into a sheet.

I wouldn't give them salmon anyway as it's freshwater not salt and it's not something original to their environment. And do something like Larry's Reef Frenzy frozen food which is a mix of all kinds things for them to enjoy, gives all the variety you need.

www.larrysreefservices.com/.

You can look there and see if your local locations sell it. Clean looking food but as with any frozen do not overfeed due to phosphates and as already said, they don't need food but once a week.

Are you talking about rock flowers or btas? Either way, once a week.

Sweet thanks. I tried to feed everything Tilapia, but only the BTA ate it. The RFA grabbed it, swallowed it, closed up, and then spit it out!
